Tuning Hammer: SOLD A good , interesting and very old ( 18th or early 19th C, maybe even earlier?) tuning hammer, no makers mark or brand, with a wooden handle capped at one end by a steel cap, and fitted with a forged steel shaft, with the oblong slot for the tuning pin location forged into the end, fitted through the handle, and secured by a lozenge shaped brass ferrule- Much used, (so we know it works!).
