Cycling 'Buglet' A good, very rare cycling 'buglet' by Henry Keats, late 19th C. Stamped with maker's name on the bell, Henry Keats and Sons , Matthias Rd, Stoke Newington, London : With original mouthpiece, stamped Henry Keats. All made in brass, 4 turns, plays well, with minor dents, never repaired, all joints intact. Dimensions: overall length 16 cms or 6 3/8", excl mouthpiece, max height 13.5 cms or 5 3/8", width 6 cms or 2 3/8" Bello oval 85 mm or 3 3/8" by 60 mm or 2 3/8". These are very rare, and this one in brass is even more rare, (most are copper with brass.) An overall delightful item for any collection, and working too!
