Pocket Metronome: A good and interesting pocket metronome, Swiss made, 'Cadencia' brand,'Brevete', with a plated case. The face is perfect, the 2 hands blued, with a winder and start/stop button at the top, and the knurled speed adjustment to the side . Speed can be varied from 40 beats per minute up to 200 b.p.m. Accuracy cannot be guaranteed, but it does seem to work fairly well. I have no electronic way to verify the accuracy of beat, to my ear there is tiniest 'limp' but its almost undetectable. This is an old item, I have only ever seen this example in 55 years of collecting. so it is rare. Timing is visual and also indicated by a firm click at the end of each pendulum swing. The case is showing some signs of flaking plating at the edges. An unusual item in this digital age, in very good original condition
